TECHNO1If you hear a grinding noise while you are  pressing your break pedal to stop, that means  your brake pads are depleted and they are  metal to metal with your rotors.Do not, I repeat, do not let it go this far,why because it will cost you three times more then the regular brake job would of cost you.In this case, you have to change your rotors and maybe your calipers, too. Have your breaks checked out every oil change.Now look in the pictures and you will see the difference between the left side rotor that was metal to metal then the right rotor.This guy overheated his calipers and they start leaking,so he lost a braking on this car.He was lucky that he was in the surface streets.
